Welcome World Travelers! Find out About World Drive and the inspiration behind the scenes.
Hi! My name is Kim and I love to explore Disney. I consider myself to be a self-proclaimed foodie. I can’t get enough tips and tricks on how to save money and time at Disney, because let’s face it time is money.
You’ve come to the “write” place if you also:
Enjoy a boujee cocktail while meandering around Epcot enjoying the sights, smells and sounds.
Are particular where you park your car at Disney to minimize the distance to your destination.
Love a secret spot to watch fireworks all to yourself.
If this sounds like you, then yay, let’s be friends!
Broadcasting out of Celebration, Florida
World Drive is proud to be broadcasting out of the beautiful town that Disney built: Celebration, Florida. Every day I explore and appreciate living so close to Walt Disney World, it’s nearly in my backyard! From the pop-pop-pop of fireworks every evening to the influence Disney has had in creating our picturesque village where neighbors aren’t just neighbors, we’re friends!
If you ever travel to Celebration, say hi! And if you aren’t familiar with World Drive it starts at Celebration Boulevard. It’s that rather large road that directs visitors and tourists from all over into Walt Disney World itself. World Drive, and the social media, is a passion project to help locals, and non-locals alike, learn the not so well-versed tips and tricks of Disney.
Growing up with Disney
In Southern California I grew up with Disney just a short drive away. As a child I stayed in the iconic Disneyland Hotel back when it had pedal boats and was the singular Disney resort. My parents used to not tell me if we were going to Disneyland because I would get too excited to sleep. Mickey Mouse has always been my jam and even as an adult I never outgrow my love for the Mouse.
In 2018 I tied the knot at the happiest place on Earth with my husband Jordan at the Grand Californian overlooking Disney’s California Adventure. We now live happily ever after in the Disney bubble, Celebration. Our circle is complete.
But alas I am excited to share my knowledge, my excitement, and my foodie (and boozie) finds with you that you too can share with friends and family. Because that is what Disney is all about, at least to me, sharing those magical moments with those who you love.
In 2022 I lost a big piece of my heart when my brother was suddenly killed in a tragic helicopter crash on duty. Besides dying a hero, he was also a previous Cast Member at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Together we shared our love of Disney and so I dedicate this project in his memory.
I’d love to hear from you so feel free to drop me a line anytime. Thanks for visiting and I can’t wait to share my finds with you!
Sincerely,
